Student who have a 4.0 or higher GPA
Huge congratulations to our amazing Cheerleaders for earning 2nd place in the 2024-2025 Winter Season State Academic Team Championships! We’re so proud of your hard work and dedication! 🎉🎉 The Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association, the non-profit governing body of high school sports in the Silver State, is proud to present a special award each year to the team with the highest-grade point average in each sport per classification. The NIAA also recognizes those varsity student-athletes who achieved a 4.0 GPA the previous semester by naming them to the All-State Academic Team. The team grade point average is determined by taking the individual unweighted GPAs of varsity team members from last semester and then computing an overall average. The NIAA considers this state academic championship award to certainly be equal to the athletic championship award. As the NIAA’s coaches and administrators always stress, the participants are students first, then athletes.

February is designated as Heart Health Month, a time to raise awareness about cardiovascular health and inspire positive lifestyle changes. We are excited to announce our partnership with the American Heart Association to launch the Kids Heart Challenge, which begins today. Throughout this two-week initiative, students will be sent home with detailed information about the challenge, including how they can participate and make a difference. We strongly encourage parents to register their children today so they can join Finn's mission, which aims to promote heart health and support the fight against heart disease. To show your commitment to this important cause, we invite everyone to wear red on February 19th. This collective display of support will help raise awareness and remind us all of the importance of taking care of our hearts. Thank you for being part of this important initiative!
