WELLS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
FALL PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES
November 1st and 2nd
Kindergarten through sixth grade will be dismissed at 11:45 am both days.
Route busses will run on Wednesday and Thursday during conferences, departing the elementary school at 11:45 am, running their routes with the elementary passengers, and then departing from the high school at their regular scheduled afternoon time.
Boys &Girls Club and Resource Center busses will depart at 11:45 am both days also. School lunch will be provided around 11:30 am.
We kindly ask that you do not bring children with you to your conference unless your teacher has requested a student-led conference. During your conference, we also ask that you please silence your phones.
Parents are encouraged to communicate late scheduling conflicts through teacher email.
On these shortened days, it is helpful to remind your child of his/her plans and after school arrangements.
If you have questions or concerns, feel free to contact the school at 752-3837.
It's that time of year again... our leadership class is doing their annual THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE. 7th-12th grade classes have been asked to sign up to bring food items. The boxes to put the food in will be out at the high school next week.
We ask that all donations be brought by Tuesday, Nov. 14th - as that is the day leadership class will be taking them to the food bank and filling food boxes.
Our leadership class works with the Knights of Columbus from the Catholic Church to put together 24-30 food boxes for families in our community. All of the food collected stays in our community!
We had an assembly today at the high school. We handed out certificates to our junior high track team. Two student athletes made the record board this season. Congratulations Riley P. and Jess W.!
During the assembly we also played some fun games, wished cross country and volleyball good luck 🍀 at divisionals, announced girls golf results from divisionals and state, and held a Miracle Minute for some of our students who were in an automobile accident this week. We raised just over $1050 to help support them. Thank you for the generous love and support shown by our leopard family❤️
Our Cross Country Boys &Girls teams are headed to Reno for Divisionals. Good luck and run fast!! 🏃🏽♀️ 🏃🏽♂️ 🏃
