Our 7th grade Lady Leopards team won divisionals at Ely this past weekend. They beat Eureka 19-16 and White Pine 24-19! They were also undefeated their entire season.
The 8th grade girls team also had a great weekend but fell a bit short of their goal of making state.
Our Junior High girls played 34 games this season from November to mid-February, posting a record of 20-14 for the combined 7th and 8th grade teams. They also won 1st and 2nd place in the Elko tournament in December.

The Wells HOPE Squad was able to attend their much-anticipated field trip to Jae's Foundation in Twin Falls, Idaho on Monday, February 5th. They attended a powerful presentation focusing on mental health and suicide prevention. The Jae Foundation taught our members, "to create Boot-Check moments, moments where we reach out and let people know that they are loved, valued, and that they have people in this world that are here for them no matter what".
Each of our members picked out their very own pair of boots and now recognize how important it is to have these Boot-Check conversations.
Thank you to the parents, students and the community for supporting our Wells HOPE Squad!
