On Saturday we honored our basketball official during the Nevada High School Officials Appreciation Week.
We would like to thank them for their unwavering dedication to high school sports in Nevada!
They truly are an essential part of high school sports in our state. Without their tireless service and sacrifice, high school sports couldn’t play on, and students in our state wouldn’t have the opportunity to play the games they love and learn so much from.
We know it’s not easy being a high school official. It takes commitment, composure,
integrity and patience, especially with fans and coaches who step out of line.
Officials deserve respect. They deserve appreciation. They deserve to feel valued.
High school sports simply wouldn’t be possible without them, so thank you officials for serving the community and our state so selflessly! We couldn’t be more grateful for you.
We would like to extend a special thank you to Beth Savedra, a Wells Elementary PTO member, for her outstanding service to our students as a volunteer in our school community!
