Wells's game back in August was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They blew past the McDermitt Bulldogs 48-16 on the road. That's more bragging rights for the Leopards, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Leading Wells to victory were Joe D and Olen M. Joe gained 121 total yards and two touchdowns, while Olen threw for 67 yards and three touchdowns. Cesar B was in the mix too, providing Wells with two touchdowns.
Wells' defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Johnny G and Cesar B.
Wells' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for McDermitt, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Mrs. L Prado's class participated in a Class Service Project for the #IWILLFOR911DAY, which looks back at 9/11 as the day that every one united to help one another. They were asked to think of someone they wanted to perform a good deed for and chose Malcolm, one of our janitors. The kids went above and beyond to clean their classroom as a way to say thank you to him. They also found out what snacks and drinks Malcolm likes. He was given these snacks along with a card signed by each student in class. The class was surprised when they found out Malcolm was from New York City! He shared his story of 9/11 with the class.
Mrs. Prado wants to say how proud she is of her class and how kind hearted each and every one of them is!
The class wants to continue doing class service projects throughout the year because they loved the feeling they got when they did this for Malcolm.
