Softball Recap: Wells Extends Winning Streak to 13
Softball Recap: Wells Leopards vs. Virginia City Muckers
By Team Reports
Apr 26, 2026, 2:08pm
Wells extended their winning streak to 13 on Saturday, bumping them up to 18-3. They blew past the Virginia City Muckers 12-0. The Leopards might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 matchups by nine runs or more this season.
Jess Wright and Adriana Aguilar did most of the damage at the plate: Wright went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs, while Aguilar went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Aguilar is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dusty Ulhig, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.
Wells always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .630. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .576 or higher in seven consecutive games.
As for Virginia City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-7. The shutout was out of character for they seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.
On Virginia City's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Danika Baker, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Softball Recap: Wells Leopards vs. Carlin Railroaders
By Team Reports
Apr 16, 2026 1:22 am
Wells waltzed into their game on Wednesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They put the hurt on the Carlin Railroaders with a sharp 11-1 victory. Considering the Leopards have won 11 matchups by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Aryanna Rodriguez made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. What's more, she posted two strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.
In other batting news, Khole DelRio was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Jitzel Rivas was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, one run, and one double.
Wells' record is now 12-3. As for Carlin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Wells beat Carlin by a score of 21-3 later that day.
