Football Recap: Wells Leopards vs. McDermitt Bulldogs
By Team Reports on maxpreps.com
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wells). They blew past the McDermitt Bulldogs 55-12 on Saturday. The Leopards haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.
Johnny Glascock was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 145 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing one fumble and making seven total tackles. Another player making a difference was Max Dahl, who gained 85 total yards and a touchdown.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Wells was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 453 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Wells' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for McDermitt, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wells is set to square off against their familiar foe Owyhee at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, McDermitt will challenge rival Eureka at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

On Saturday, September 13th, the Lady Leopards volleyball team secured a strong home conference victory over the McDermitt Lady Bulldogs with a final score of 3-1. The Leopards showcased determination and teamwork, earning an important victory on their home court.
