WELLS — In the first games of the year, the Wells boys basketball team — with scores not reported for two contests — knocked down a pair of victories during the WREC Classic.
On Nov. 30, the Leopards narrowly defeated Tonopah by a final score of 22-19.
Scores were not reported for Wells’ games on Dec. 1 versus another non-varsity opponent or Pahranagat Valley.
But, the Leopards capped the WREC Classic with a slim 31-28 victory over a non-varsity opponent.

Wells was scheduled to play another non-varsity opponent at 6:30 p.m. Friday and host Excel Christian at 11 a.m. Saturday.
